Q: How often should I sharpen my mowing blades?
A: Sharpening intervals depend on grass and other conditions encountered by the mower. In normal commercial mowing applications, blades should be checked for sharpness at least twice a day, more often if mowing at low height of cuts, or if mowing in sandy areas. It's a very good idea to have a set of sharp blades in reserve to replace those that have become dull or damaged.
